Job Details
Job Summary:
The ideal candidate will have 5?10 years of experience gathering requirements, writing user stories, and collaborating with product owners, developers, and QA teams to deliver technology solutions in the insurance domain.
Key Responsibilities:
Gather, analyze, and document detailed business and system requirements from stakeholders.
Collaborate with business users, product owners, developers, and QA teams to deliver insurance solutions.
Translate business requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Act as a liaison between technical and business teams to ensure alignment and clarity.
Support configuration, testing, and implementation of policy administration platforms (e.g., Guidewire, Duck Creek).
Analyze current processes and systems and recommend improvements for automation, efficiency, and scalability.
Conduct impact analysis, data mapping, and functional design for system enhancements or new implementations.
Support UAT planning, execution, and defect management.
Serve as subject matter expert (SME) for the P&C Insurance domain, especially in underwriting and policy lifecycle processes.
Required Qualifications:
5?10 years of experience as a Business System Analyst
Strong hands-on experience with one or more policy administration systems:
Guidewire PolicyCenter (preferred)
Duck Creek Policy
Majesco, OneShield
Deep understanding of insurance products, rating, underwriting, and policy lifecycle.
Experience writing user stories, BRDs, FRDs, process flows, and data mapping documents.
Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum and/or SAFe methodologies.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional technical and business teams.
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in insurance modernization or digital transformation initiatives.
Familiarity with integration platforms, API specifications, and data conversion related to PAS.
Certifications such as Guidewire Certified Specialist, SAFe PO/PM, CBAP, or CPCU.
Education:
Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Business, Insurance, or related field.
Master?s degree or equivalent industry certifications preferred.
