We are looking for a Sr. Data Analyst on our Measurement Research team within the Partner Measurement organization to work directly with our highest priority clients to understand and optimize their investment on Pinterest. The Measurement Research team's mission is to communicate the value of the platform to advertisers and build insights and tools to optimize ad performance. The team focuses on analysis of advertising performance using a variety of measurement methodologies (eg MMM, MTA, MMT, Brand Lift), reporting tools, visualizations, proactive analytical insights, statistical insights, and support for the larger Partner Measurement team with our knowledge. This embedded data science position is a new chapter for our team as we work directly with Pinterest's most critical clients to develop insights for specific advertisers.

What you'll do:
  • Work directly with sales teams, measurement, and other internal teams to deeply understand an advertiser's business and Pinterest strategy.
  • Analyze high-profile advertiser performance (conversions, page visits, etc.) and third-party (MMM, MTA, etc.) data to develop insights on how to improve results in a dynamic always on fashion.
  • Travel and speak to clients about the insights and potential actions to be taken.
  • Access internal data and tools to produce the analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as product, product marketing, data science, and performance solutions to understand our growing suite of performance solutions and to communicate findings.

What we're looking for:
  • Deep knowledge of performance advertising (conversions, pixels, conversion apis).
  • Knowledge of various measurement research methodologies (MMM, MTA, Brand Lifts, Site Analytics, MMT).
  • Expertise with SQL and Python (data science packages).
  • Experience using varied quantitative analysis to understand advertising performance.
  • Ability to communicate and present complex information to a range of data-literate audiences.
  • Curiosity of the changing advertising landscape.
  • Creativity in conducting analyses and packaging insights for different audiences.
  • At Least 5+ years of relevant experience in the field of Advertising Measurement or Advertising Data Science.
  • Experience in Clean Rooms a plus.
