oDevelop and maintain detailed documentation for Nutanix architecture, configurations, and DR plans.
oStay current with Nutanix advancements and best practices, integrating them where beneficial.
oTrain and mentor IT staff on Nutanix operations and DR procedures.
oPerform post-migration validation, performance tuning, and ongoing optimization.
oEstablish monitoring best practices and troubleshoot complex issues.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in CS/IT or equivalent extensive experience (typically 7+ years in enterprise virtualization).
Deep, hands-on expertise with Nutanix Enterprise Cloud Platform (AOS, AHV, Prism, Move).
Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise-grade Disaster Recovery solutions using Nutanix technologies (e.g., Nutanix Disaster Recovery features, protection domains).
Demonstrable experience leading at least one large-scale VMware vSphere to Nutanix AHV migration project.
Strong understanding of Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI) principles.
Proficiency in assessing, designing, and deploying Nutanix solutions for enterprise workloads.
Solid understanding of networking (VLANs, routing, firewalls) for virtualized and DR environments.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills,1 capable of engaging technical and non-technical audiences.
Proven ability to lead technical projects and mentor team members.
Highly desirable: Nutanix certifications (NCP-MCI, NCM-MCI, NCX); DR-related certifications a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Nutanix Files, Flow (microsegmentation), or Calm.
Familiarity with Pure Storage, Cisco UCS, or Cisco Networking (Nexus, Catalyst).
Scripting/automation skills (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Ansible) for infrastructure/DR.
Knowledge of backup solutions integrating with Nutanix DR.
Experience with VDI on Nutanix and related DR considerations.
