Job Title: IT Project Manager Education Systems (Contract)
Location: Las Vegas, NV (On-site/Hybrid)
Duration: Long-term Contract

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced IT Project Manager to lead multiple concurrent technology initiatives. These projects range from classroom technology rollouts to large-scale, district-wide enterprise system implementations. This role requires excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills, along with a track record of successfully delivering enterprise software projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables

  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, budgets, timelines, and resources

  • Lead project execution, tracking milestones and deliverables

  • Coordinate communication across technical teams and stakeholders

  • Manage vendor contracts and ensure timely delivery of services

  • Mitigate project risks and issues proactively

  • Ensure alignment with district strategies and compliance

  • Oversee project documentation and post-project evaluations

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field

  • Minimum 5 years of IT and industry experience

  • 5+ years of experience managing medium to large-scale IT projects

  • Proven experience managing enterprise software implementations (e.g., Oracle PeopleSoft, SAP)

  • Strong knowledge of SDLC, project lifecycle, and business application lifecycle management

  • Proficient in project management tools (MS Project, JIRA, Smartsheet, etc.)

  • Excellent leadership, team building, risk management, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP certification (Project Management Professional)

  • Experience with K-12 or Higher Education systems

  • Previous work with educational entities or public sector technology projects
