Job Description:

Position: GRC Analyst

Type: Long term Contract

Location: 100% Remote (EST hours)

Rate: $50-65/hr

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) Risk Analyst/Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in risk analysis, consulting, internal auditing, or external auditing, with a focus on cybersecurity processes, application controls, and compliance assessment. This role does not require certification but demands a thorough understanding of various compliance frameworks and the ability to work closely with application owners and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with application owners to manage cybersecurity processes and application controls.
  • Conduct compliance assessments and control analysis.
  • Review and implement new processes, including inventory ranking and network encryption.
  • Ensure software lifecycles and connections meet compliance standards.
  • Maintain and improve manual GRC operations and processes.
  • Work with control owners to certify compliance annually.
  • Provide Tisax experience and guide the team through compliance requirements.

Technical Requirements:
  • Familiarity with ISO 27001, NIST 800-171, GDPR, and PCI frameworks.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (VLOOKUP).
  • Basic technical skills, potentially at the level of an IT manager.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
