Job Details

Looking for candidates to relocate to work in Dallas, Texas where there is no city/state tax and cost of housing is much less than NJ or NYC.
 
Seeking 2-3 year commitment as the buildings for 5,000 employees are being built and candidate has to work closely with construction team to make sure infrastructure is being built properly to handle all telecommunication, networking and computing needs. MUST BE ABLE TO WORK IN downtown DALLAS for 5 days a week.

 Technology Project Manager Job Description:
Client Corporate Real Estate Interface:

  • Representing the Technology Engineering division, working closely with Corporate Workplace Solutions and key architectural and mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) consultants.
  • Developing the internal project approval and costing processes within Corporate Workplace Solutions.
  • Managing the interface between Technology division and Client’s construction team regarding:-
  • New office due diligence visits and reporting
  • Development of construction employee requirements
  • Construction request for proposals (RFP) and working through potential impacts
  • Technology room data sheet development
  • Design consultant liaison
  • Technology room test fits, containment and carrier design
  • Workshop detail design post lease approval
  • Management of construction room ready handovers from the construction team to Technology division.

 

Project Management:

  • Ownership of the project lifecycle leveraging existing methodologies of the Technology division.
  • Defining objectives, deliverables, time and costs estimates working with the stakeholders.
  • Ensuring that the project is appropriately resourced.
  • Developing and gaining approval of the formal project plan including scope, schedule, budget, procurement and communication.
  • Developing and maintaining a risk management plan throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Producing regular update reports and lead regular projects update meetings.
  • Managing the execution phase, ensuring change and quality controls are being followed.

 

Project Delivery:

  • Managing the project lifecycle of key Technology streams:
  • Telecommunication Carrier point of entry, carrier procurement and installation
  • Technology room design, high and low level design
  • Structured cabling RFP, award, design detail and execution
  • Network design, procurement and installation
  • Wi-Fi & DAS (distributed antenna systems) design, procurement and installation
  • Voice procurement and implementation
  • Trader voice design, procurement and integration
  • Multimedia and TV service design, procurement and deployment
  • Compute procurement and build-out
  • Desktop procurement and deployment
  • Coordination of technology with furniture.
