Job Details

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated DevOps Engineer to join our team in a hybrid role. The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for implementing and managing tools, processes, and cloud environments to automate build, testing, deployment, and production infrastructure. This role supports the availability and performance of systems used by internal and external customers and involves close collaboration with development, QA, support, and operations teams. Key Responsibilities Design, promote, and support Continuous Delivery and microservices architecture. Identify and automate processes to improve release efficiency and reliability. Develop and maintain Continuous Integration pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and Java/Groovy. Implement deployment processes including packaging, pushing releases, and executing installs. Support infrastructure for cloud deployments and ensure platform availability. Conduct research, evaluation, and implementation of DevOps tools and practices. Monitor and troubleshoot high-availability platforms. Coordinate and manage application releases, including OS patches, security updates, and hardware upgrades. Assist in triaging and analyzing defects and incidents in collaboration with incident management. Required Qualifications Bachelors degree and 3+ years of relevant experience in IT services and support. 3+ years of experience in financial services or similar regulated environments. Proven experience managing high-severity application or process incidents. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, Perl, or Python. Administrative experience with cloud environments (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, or OpenStack). Experience with Kubernetes and container environments. Familiarity with Agile development practices and tools like Atlassian JIRA. Experience with provisioning, configuration management, and containerization tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Docker). Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, especially Oracle and MongoDB. Preferred Qualifications Experience in DevOps tool evaluation, proof of concept, and training. Exposure to customer-facing infrastructure support for cloud deployments. Education: Bachelors Degree
