The candidate will provide field applications support and act as a system expert to customers utilizing Analog Devices product portfolio focusing on Consumer applications in the Bay Area. This involves working with a broad range of customers, sales teams, and product development teams to identify key opportunities, provide technical support and position the best solutions tailored to customer needs to grow Analog Devices market share. This position will be based in the Northeast (MA, CT, NYC-Area, NH), supporting New England and NYC consumer customers.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Serve as a systems expert for the to execute the sales strategy for Consumer
- Engage in opportunity discovery phase in conjunction with Sales and FAEs, understanding and influencing the system partitioning and solution definition
- Identify opportunities for growth and work with regional team to implement strategies to capture revenue
- Work closely with sales and peer FAEs to develop/maintain customer relationships
- Develop/maintain relationships with key product line management, marketing, field and application engineering teams
- Assist Sales and FAE team in coordinating technical resources required to implement solution proposals
- Proposing component and system level solutions to customers
- Providing training to customers and colleagues on Analog Devices' solutions and products
- Collaborate with Product Development and Solutions teams to ensure that customer focused insights and feedback are accurately reflected in new product definitions and roadmaps
- Understand and disseminate customers' system needs versus wants
- Collaborate with fellow FAEs to foster knowledge sharing
Minimum Qualifications:
- BSEE or equivalent
- 7-15 years experience in product, design, and/or field applications engineering or equivalent
- Strong comprehension of Consumer product architectures and emerging technology trends
- Technical depth in Power Management, Vital Signs Monitoring/Optical Sensing, Battery Management and/or Processing/DSP
- Diverse Power circuit design experience at the board and system level. Example circuits would be Switching regulators like Bucks, Boosts, Buck-Boosts, Battery chargers. Experience with Consumer applications preferred.
- An avid learner who approaches challenges with curiosity and resilience, seeking data to help build understanding
- Strong collaborative mindset with an ability to work in a cross-functional environment while demonstrating delivered value to disparate internal & external stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to operate in a team that interfaces with a wide variety of functions at once, from Sales to Engineering to Marketing
- Skilled communicator with a proven track record in aggregating information and proliferating it to various stakeholders that range from subject matter experts to novices
- Good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize/multi-task several concurrent projects
- Ability to coach/teach/help others with design issues
- Experience in driving prototype evaluation, debugging, and testing
- Excellent technical communication skills (i.e., writing, presentations, listening, phone calls)
- U.S. Citizenship preferred
