Java Engineer

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Java Engineer with our client in the financial Industry located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 6+ month contract position.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, debug, and document full stack applications using Java, Spring Framework,and React JS with Redux
• Develop integrated and secure enterprise and web-based applications
• Collaborate on business process modeling using workflow software
• Implement front-end interfaces with a focus on WCAG 2.0/2.1 accessibility compliance
• Develop scalable web applications using Micro Frontend architecture and Microservices
• Consume and create RESTful APIs and integrate services for application functionality
• Contribute to enterprise architecture planning and technical strategy
• Conduct code reviews and ensure unit testing coverage for backend services
• Collaborate cross-functionally to identify and resolve technical challenges
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior developers as needed

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years of software engineering experience (or equivalent experience via education, training, or military service)
• 7+ years of Java/J2EE development for secure and integrated enterprise applications
• 4+ years of Spring Framework experience
• 4+ years of React JS with Redux for web application development
• 4+ years of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS development
• 2+ years of experience in business process workflow software
• 2+ years of development with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.0/2.1)
• Experience working with REST APIs and understanding of common API design patterns
• Experience in Microservices and Micro Frontend architectures
• Unit testing experience for Java backend code (e.g., JUnit, Mockito)

Pay Range: $ 60 - 70
