Title: Manager IT Applications (SAP)
Location: Inglewood, CA 90302
Duration: Permanent / Full Time
Salary range: $135,000 - $165,000

*(Hybrid work schedule of three days onsite per week with Mondays and Fridays required)** - ** Must work onsite 100% for the first 90-days**

POSITION SUMMARY:
This position will manage the IT Applications team. The Manager, IT Applications is responsible for the management, maintenance, continuous improvement and end user support of our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and other critical business applications within SLA's and budgets. The role involves project management, resource allocation, vendor management and collaboration with cross-functional teams to optimize application performance. The Manager, IT Applications will stay informed about emerging technologies to drive innovation within the IT applications domain. The ideal candidate must have both leadership and technical skills to manage IT technologies and personnel effectively and efficiently.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manages the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system while working closely with business.
  • Recruits staff to include interviewing, hiring, assigning work, training, coaching, and counseling ensuring consistent application of Employee Guidelines, processes, and procedures. Conducts performance reviews, and holds employees accountable for optimal performance of their responsibilities
  • Establishes level of service standards and operating policies/procedures for overall ERP system availability.
  • Organizes applications team to provide support for new projects as well as existing.
  • Manages operating and capital budget recommendations for applications area and each specific system components
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant Information Technology field of study, such as computer/software engineering, project management or equivalent experience
  • Must have SAP experience
  • A minimum of 15 years' experience with information technology enterprise applications (ERP/Analytics/Custom Development), role-based security and project management.
  • Completed a minimum of three ERP system implementation/migration projects in a lead role.
  • Change Management experience
  • Cyber Security Compliance experience within the development and security processes, preferable NIST SP 800-171 Rev 2
  • Between 5 to 10 years' of ERP Configuration/Development (Logistics functionality) experience
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience supervising a team of information technology professionals
  • A minimum 10 years' experience in the Manufacturing/Aerospace & Defense Industry
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and mentoring ability
  • Knowledge of current and emerging industry technologies
  • Cost and Budget management including vendor management
  • Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing
  • Ability to use sound judgment when making decisions
  • Ability to manage time and workload effectively which includes planning, organizing and prioritizing
  • Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs.
  • Must read, write, and speak English
