Here's what you'll be doing:
Hands-On Testing: Perform component-level and product-level testing to validate performance, reliability, and compliance with design specifications.
Fixture Development: Design and build custom test fixtures to support component evaluation and diagnostics.
Alternate Sourcing: Research and qualify alternate components to support cost optimization, supply chain resilience, and design flexibility.
SAP-PLM Familiarization: Gain experience navigating our Product Lifecycle Management system (SAP-PLM) to manage component data, BOMs, and engineering changes.
PCN & EOL Risk Mitigation: Monitor and respond to Product Change Notifications (PCNs) and End-of-Life (EOL) alerts to ensure continuity of supply and proactive risk management.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with design engineers, supply chain teams, and quality assurance to support product development and sustainment activities.
