Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire (6 Months)
Pay Rate: $25-$29/HR (Depending on experience)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, normal business hours

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Alarm Technician to join our team supporting projects across the San Antonio area. This role involves installing, configuring, and maintaining enterprise-level security systems with minimal supervision. You'll work on cutting-edge hardware from leading manufacturers such as Von Duprin, Assa Abloy, HID, Honeywell, and more.

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Alarm Technician to join our team supporting projects across the San Antonio area. This role involves installing, configuring, and maintaining enterprise-level security systems with minimal supervision. You'll work on cutting-edge hardware from leading manufacturers such as Von Duprin, Assa Abloy, HID, Honeywell, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, terminate, configure, and test Access Control, CCTV, and Intrusion Detection systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints for accurate installations.
- Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on:
- Mag Locks
- Electronic Door Strikes
- Card Readers & Keypads
- Electric Crash Bars
- EREX & REX devices
- Motion Sensors
- IP Cameras, NVRs, and DVRs
- Lead project installations and manage quality control.
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure project timelines are met.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 6+ months installing Access Control systems.
- 1+ year of commercial cabling experience.
- Strong understanding of proper cable installation practices.
- Ability to work independently and resolve technical issues.
- Valid driver's license and clean MVR.
- Reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with enterprise security platforms: Honeywell Pro-Watch, Genetec, Openpath, Exacq, 3xLogic, Brivo.
- Knowledge of IP networking and video analytics.
- Current certifications in any of the above systems are a plus.
