Senior Technical Business Analyst-Salesforce
Unison Systems is looking for a Technical Business Analyst with Salesforce experience for our client who is the global leader in real estate logistics. The Senior Technical Business Analyst will work with global business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, document, validate, and influence business requirements and processes to support data, process improvement, policies, information systems, analytics, and reporting related to the Leasing, Legal (primary) and document generation and administration capabilities. The role resides within the IT Business Capability Engineering team and reports to the Product Manager of the capability. The role engages with the business stakeholders and solutions delivery teams to develop/enhance technology solutions, business processes, and change management. This role will be expected to actively engage in strategic conversations with senior business leadership.
This opportunity is a long-term contract with the opportunity to be hired full-time in the future. Preferred location is Denver, Co for a hybrid schedule but open to 100% remote anywhere in US for the right candidate.
Position Responsibilities:
Elicit articulated and unarticulated business requirements through in-person or virtual interactions
Challenge and influence business partners on requirements to support and align to enterprise- wide objectives
Document requirement descriptions, acceptance criteria, and functional design requirements, as well as any associated data definitions/use cases that align to data governance and data lineage standards
Analyze business technology and process solutions to determine solutions' priority, measurable business value, global impact, and ROI benefit
Analyze and document the anticipated impact solutions will have on other stakeholders, processes, and related systems functionality
Provide direction for and manage 3rd party resources
Collaborate with solution delivery team to prioritize requirements in upcoming releases as well as the full requirements backlog
Proactively communicate potential cross-functional dependencies and risks, and provide propose mitigation plans or interim workaround solutions
Ensure solution delivery team efforts align to broader/cross-functional priorities
Provide guidance, support and constructive feedback to internal and external team members
Partner with quality assurance team during testing activities
Perform detailed Business Analyst approval and testing
Identify and resolve conflicts and negotiate changes in priorities, design, and/or scope
Facilitate business demonstrations and discovery workshops
Support technology and process change management efforts including communications, planning, impact analysis, training etc.
Successfully engage in multiple, simultaneous initiatives, and report progress toward delivery goals including the estimated time needed to deliver artifacts
Able to work independently with minimal supervision, with equal ability to work collaboratively on a team and accept constructive feedback
Essential Skills & Experience:
Bachelor's degree required
5+ years of financial, business analysis, consulting, and/or data analysis experience
Experience working on application development and/or technology implementation using multiple methodologies including waterfall, Agile, and hybrid.
Experience facilitating process improvement workshops and implementing process changes
Demonstrated critical thinking skills
Strong interpersonal skills required to build trust and respect with executive, senior business leadership, solution stakeholders, and solution delivery team members
Instinct to ask relevant probing questions that get to the "why" behind business requests to achieve exceptional outcomes
Work effectively with diverse teams of people with multiple perspectives and talents
Comfortable with consensus building and soliciting constructive feedback
Self-motivated focus on continual development, results delivery, high performance, accountability
Proven ability to multitask, and effectively manage/prioritize time across competing activities/resources
Strong verbal/written communication skills with the ability to distill meaningful and accurate information from potentially ambiguous business descriptions
Ability to analyze and articulate the value of proposed solutions/requirements
Desired Skills & Experience:
Must have experience: Salesforce, Jira/Agile
Nice to have: Familiarity with CLMS (contract lifecycle management), SharePoint, Yardi, Yardi Advanced Budgeting/VMF, PeopleSoft, Oracle, Smartsheet.
Real Estate experience a plus
