Job Title: Research Program Manager IV

Summary
Research Program Managers build and scale global research programs to strengthen the impact of research teams. This role focuses on defining, establishing, and maintaining global operational and team-wide programs, while creating scalable processes to support team growth. The ideal candidate brings strategic thinking, strong stakeholder management, and operational excellence to enable impactful work across research functions.

Responsibilities

  • Define and manage strategic initiatives that improve team efficiency and impact

  • Establish operational systems and outcomes to support research workflows

  • Partner with stakeholders on internal processes, templates, and documentation improvements

  • Work with leadership to establish effective team communication and collaboration

  • Define clear program roadmaps, provide regular updates, and manage risk

  • Support research planning and budget tracking

  • Manage relationships with cross-functional partners including Design, Legal, and Policy

  • Execute team projects that support team culture and clarity of purpose

  • Apply flexible approaches to meet team needs and resolve blocks quickly

  • Collaborate with Global Research Ops on relevant programs and best practices

  • Facilitate relationships across teams, move initiatives forward, and resolve issues

Minimum Qualifications

  • 8+ years of relevant experience as a project or program manager or UX researcher

  • Experience leading programs end-to-end and scaling them for growth

  • Experience working directly with UX researchers, product designers, and product development teams (Product Managers, Engineers, Data Scientists)

  • Proven ability to build relationships with peers and senior stakeholders across locations

  • Experience communicating with data to drive change

  • Experience supporting recruitment for large-scale UXR projects

  • Demonstrated ability to operate independently, handle ambiguity, and deliver organized results

  • Proven success in fast-paced environments requiring task prioritization and problem-solving

  • Strong communication skills for influencing researchers, stakeholders, senior leaders, and vendors

  • Ability to articulate a vision that aligns and inspires research teams

  • Experience with vendor management

  • Experience coordinating and facilitating team meetings including scheduling, content planning, and presenting
