Title: Senior Data Engineer

Location: Irving (Dallas), TX 5 days onsite

Responsibilities -

The Senior Data Engineer will be a Senior software engineer in the Data Engineering and Analytics team. This role will focus on designing and implementing scalable data solutions using Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse Analytics and other Azure services in a multi-tenant environment. This is a senior individual contributor role with a focus on hands on development, collaborative problem solving, and mentorship of junior engineers.

  • Architect and develop end-to-end pipelines using Microsoft Fabric and Azure Synapse Analytics
  • Build and orchestrate workflows using Azure Logic Apps to automate data movement, transformation, and integration
  • Implement multi-tenant strategies for data isolation, governance, and scalability across Azure resources
  • Ensure data security, compliance, and performance across all layers of the architecture
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code practices using tools like Terraform and Azure DevOps
  • Work in an agile environment
  • Assist with Production Support activities

Must-have Requirements -

  • 8-10 years of Data Engineering experience
  • Proven expertise in Microsoft Fabric, including Lakehouse, Warehouse, and One Lake components
  • Strong hands-on experience with Azure Synapse Analytics
  • Proficiency in Azure Logic Apps, Data Factory, and Event-driven architectures
  • Deep understanding of multi-tenant Azure environments, including resource isolation, RBAC, and governance
  • Strong programming skills in Spark, Python, and SQL
  • Experience with Terraform, ARM templates, or other IaC tools for Azure provisioning
  • Familiarity with data security, compliance frameworks, and monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor and Log Analytics
  • Experience in developing application integration using SOAP/REST APIs

Preferred Requirements -

  • Microsoft Certified Fabric Data Engineer Associate
