Role: Data Scientist with Chatbot Development Experience

Location: Remote with travel, if needed

Duration: 3-6 Months

Required Experience: 7+ years

Position Summary:

• We are looking for a skilled and innovative Data Scientist with hands-on experience in developing and deploying AI-powered chatbots using AWS Bedrock.
• This role is ideal for someone who combines deep expertise in NLP and machine learning with real-world experience in implementing scalable chatbot solutions in enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy intelligent chatbot solutions using AWS Bedrock and foundation models (e.g., Anthropic Claude, Amazon Titan, Meta, Cohere).
• Fine-tune LLMs and develop prompt engineering strategies for enterprise use cases, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to define conversation flows, business logic, and integration points.
• Build scalable pipelines to monitor chatbot performance and incorporate continuous learning from user interactions.
• Ensure robust deployment using AWS services such as S3, Lambda, API Gateway, Bedrock, SageMaker, and Step Functions.
• Implement responsible AI practices to manage bias, fairness, and compliance.
• Document models, decisioning logic, and architectural components clearly for enterprise stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience in data science or machine learning, with at least 1 2 years focused on chatbot development.
• Strong proficiency in Python, with experience in NLP libraries and frameworks (Hugging Face, LangChain, spaCy, etc.).
• Experience with AWS Bedrock, including foundation model invocation, prompt engineering, and orchestration.
• Familiarity with AWS cloud services and best practices in deploying ML models in production.
• Strong understanding of LLM-based architectures and chatbot evaluation metrics.
• Excellent communication skills and experience working in agile, cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with RAG pipelines using vector databases (e.g., Amazon OpenSearch, Pinecone, FAISS).
• Prior implementation of enterprise-grade, secure, and privacy-compliant chatbot solutions.
• Understanding of MLOps tools and CI/CD pipelines for machine learning (e.g., SageMaker Pipelines, MLflow).
• Experience integrating chatbots with enterprise systems like Salesforce, ServiceNow, or custom APIs.
