Senior DevOps / Build Engineer

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior DevOps/Build Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in designing, maintaining, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and deployment processes. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you'll ensure seamless build and deployment workflows across a robust cloud environment.

This position offers remote setup with the flexibility to work from any location in Georgia, whether it's your home, well-equipped offices in Tbilisi and Batumi or a coworking space in Kutaisi.

Responsibilities

• Manage CI/CD pipelines, including Jenkins, Git repositories, artifact storage, and deployment processes
• Optimize logging solutions with ELK stack integration
• Support small infrastructure tasks such as VPC peering, IAM accounts, and AD user administration
• Develop infrastructure-as-code solutions using Terraform for AWS infrastructure and Ansible for deployment automation
• Build and maintain reliable development and deployment workflows using AWS CDK in TypeScript
• Ensure effective use of Docker and Kubernetes to manage containerized applications
• Collaborate with stakeholders to meet cloud operations and deployment requirements
• Maintain high system availability and actively troubleshoot complex technical issues
• Promote communication within the team and ensure clear technical documentation

Requirements

• 3+ years working experience in DevOps implementations or related roles
• Expertise in AWS CDK, Terraform, and Ansible for infrastructure automation
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration
• Familiarity with Amazon CloudWatch and AWS for cloud monitoring
• Proficiency in CI/CD pipeline tools, including Jenkins and Git repositories
• Solid understanding of ELK stack for logging applications and systems
• Competency in TypeScript for cloud development tasks
• English communication skills at B2 level or above

Nice to have

• Background in BitBucket and Confluence for collaboration tools
• Familiarity with Harbor for container image storage and management
• Understanding of Instana for application performance monitoring
• Skills in Jira for project tracking and issue management
