The Site Connections Manager Senior is responsible for facilitating and tracking the deployment of enterprise IT systems and connectivity to remote field sites. This role bridges documentation, coordination, and logistics between program leadership, technical teams, and remote stakeholders. The ideal candidate has experience supporting enterprise site rollouts, coordinating DISN connection requests, and ensuring all assets and configuration items are properly recorded in the Configuration Management Database (CMDB). This position plays a critical role in enabling timely and secure site stand-up and modernization activities.

The Site Connections Manager Senior is responsible for facilitating and tracking the deployment of enterprise IT systems and connectivity to remote field sites. This role bridges documentation, coordination, and logistics between program leadership, technical teams, and remote stakeholders. The ideal candidate has experience supporting enterprise site rollouts, coordinating DISN connection requests, and ensuring all assets and configuration items are properly recorded in the Configuration Management Database (CMDB). This position plays a critical role in enabling timely and secure site stand-up and modernization activities.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and track enterprise IT deployments and connectivity efforts to remote sites
- Assist site points of contact in filling out deployment and connection documentation accurately and on time
- Collaborate with network engineers and system administrators to bring remote sites online
- Support DISN connection requests through the DoD Connection Approval Process (CAP) and submit requests via the DISA connection portal
- Maintain deployment trackers, schedules, and risk logs to ensure visibility of site status and dependencies
- Track hardware and software assets shipped to field locations; reconcile asset data with inventory records
- Open and manage Jira Service Management (JSM) tickets to reflect deployment progress and ensure that assets are updated in the CMDB accurately
- Provide weekly updates to leadership on site readiness, technical dependencies, and outstanding tasks
- Coordinate closely with logistics, cybersecurity, and operations teams to align timelines and dependencies
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field OR
- Associate degree with 2+ additional years of relevant IT experience
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required with 4+ additional years of directly related IT experience in lieu of a degree
- 5+ years of experience in IT field operations, deployment coordination, or enterprise logistics support
- Familiarity with DoD site connection policies and DISN provisioning processes preferred
- U.S. Citizen with active TS/SCI clearance
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong organizational skills with experience managing deployments or site rollout schedules
- Working knowledge of the DISA CAP process and DISN provisioning procedures
- Familiarity with Jira Service Management (JSM) and Configuration Management Database (CMDB) concepts
- Ability to interpret technical requirements and communicate effectively with non-technical site representatives
- Experience tracking and reconciling assets in field environments
- Strong communication skills with the ability to brief leadership and collaborate across diverse technical teams
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments with multiple ongoing deployments
