Job Details

Mandatory Skills - Big Query, DataProc, Airflow, and Pub/Sub, Real time ingestion and event date driven Architecture.

Roles and Responsibility -

  1. Design and lead development of scalable healthcare data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform using BigQuery, Dataproc (Spark), Dataflow, and Cloud Storage.

  2. Orchestrate complex ETL/ELT workflows using Cloud Composer (Airflow) to ensure reliable and auditable data processing.

  3. Build and optimize Spark jobs on Dataproc for large-scale clinical, claims, and operational data transformations.

  4. Implement real-time streaming pipelines using Pub/Sub for patient data ingestion, alerts, and interoperability workflows.

  5. Develop healthcare-focused data models in BigQuery, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and Ascension data governance standards.

  6. Lead data quality, validation, and observability initiatives to guarantee accuracy for clinical and analytical use cases.

  7. Collaborate with data architects, clinicians, and product teams to translate healthcare requirements into high-performing data solutions.

  8. Drive the implementation of secure access controls, encryption, and audit processes aligned with Ascension s compliance policies.

  9. Mentor data engineers on Google Cloud Platform best practices, Spark optimization techniques, and Airflow DAG development.

  10. Oversee CI/CD processes, cost optimization, and operational excellence for all Google Cloud Platform data platforms across Ascension Health.
