Job Details

Job Description-

Conduct comprehensive hardware penetration testing on Cisco products, including routers, switches, and other network devices.
Identify and exploit vulnerabilities in hardware components such as firmware, chipsets, and embedded systems.
Collaborate with product teams to understand device architectures and potential security concerns.
Develop and execute test plans that simulate real-world attack scenarios on hardware.
Analyze findings to document vulnerabilities, risks, and potential impact on product security.
Work closely with hardware and firmware engineering teams to recommend and implement effective countermeasures.
Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in hardware security, attack vectors, and defensive techniques.
Contribute to the development and enhancement of internal hardware security tools and methodologies.
Provide detailed technical reports and debriefs to stakeholders, including recommended patches or security measures.
Qualifications:

Experience: 5+ years in hardware penetration testing or hardware security assessment, preferably within the technology or network equipment industry.
Education: Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Technical Expertise:
Strong understanding of embedded systems and hardware design.
Experience with hardware hacking tools (e.g., JTAG, oscilloscope, logic analyzers).
Proficiency in reverse engineering firmware and analyzing binary code.
Familiarity with cryptographic implementations and side-channel attacks.
Knowledge of circuit board design and common hardware vulnerabilities.
Certifications: CEH, OSCP, or relevant hardware security certifications (e.g., Certified Hardware Security Professional) are a plus.
Soft Skills:
Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.
Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills:

Experience with Cisco products and networking technologies.
Knowledge of secure boot mechanisms and firmware protection techniques.
Hands-on experience with testing tools such as IDA Pro, Ghidra, or Radare2.
Prior involvement in hardware bug bounty programs or public
