- Bachelors degree or Higher
- Technology-agnostic, able to engage with Epic teams and groups using different applications beyond just Epic
- Strong project management and facility management skills
- Knowledge of Epic software suite and ancillary applications within a medical facility
- Understand the facility structure, the Epic infrastructure, and know how to pull in the right people & teams to help with the facility build out
- Have technical or clinical applications generalist experience, to understand all the technology that goes into a building and how it translates to workflows
- Hands-on experience with Epic prior to this role (Ex. Epic Analyst)
- Able to work directly and facilitate conversations with the various teams from Northwell Health, Inc., and be involved in various meetings across different Northwell Health facilities and pavilions
- Help with resource planning and problem-solving related to Epic & Ancillary replacements and new facility opening.
- Have a base understanding of a health system facilities structure
Responsibilities:
- Manage the day to day operations of new facility build out and renovations
- Assists in developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility between Epic and Ancillary application teams
- Collaborate with other departments & teams to plan and execute facility-related projects, such as renovations or expansions.
- Participate in meetings and committees related to facilities management to provide input and recommendations for improvement.
- Serves as liaison between technical, facility, and corporate departments as appropriate
- Maintain accurate records of all facility activities
- Respond promptly to any emergency maintenance or repair needs.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve and streamline facilities management processes.
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and, techniques
- Report and escalate to management or respective teams as needed
- Develop detailed plans to track special projects
