Position: Intermediate Systems Engineer Location: Remote Duration: 6+months Contract
Job Description:
Requires the following skills, and background:
- Education: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related
field (or equivalent experience).
- Security: Strong understanding of security technologies and best practices.
- 5+ years of experience in all of the following:
o Systems engineering, technical support, or a related role.
o Backup technologies, with Veeam being a plus.
o Cloud Platforms: Azure and its intricacies.
o IaC Tools: OpenTofu/Terraform and GitLab.
o Windows Environments: Windows Server, Active Directory, SQL, and all
Windows operating systems.
o Virtualization: Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop, Citrix, VMware.
The Consultant(s) would also benefit from the following skills and background:
- Certifications: Industry certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator,
CompTIA Security+, CCNA).
- Excellent PowerShell scripting for automation.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent collaboration and communication abilities.
- The ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- A proactive and detail-oriented mindset.
- Excellent networking skills.
