The AI and Automation Strategist will be responsible for leading the vision, design, and execution of advanced AI and automation initiatives that enhance operational performance and enable organizational growth. This role requires expertise in emerging technologies and the ability to translate technical capabilities into practical, business-driven outcomes. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the strategist will identify opportunities for intelligent automation, build scalable solutions, and guide the development of a long-term AI roadmap. Success in this position is measured by the ability to deliver measurable improvements in efficiency, quality, and innovation through the adoption of AI.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute comprehensive AI and automation strategies that align with organizational priorities.
- Assess current processes to identify areas where AI and automation can deliver measurable impact.
- Partner with technology and business teams to design, develop, and deploy AI-enabled solutions.
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies, recommending tools and platforms that add competitive advantage.
- Track and report on project outcomes, ensuring initiatives deliver intended value and return on investment.
- Provide guidance, training, and thought leadership to internal stakeholders on AI adoption and best practices.
- Oversee vendor relationships and manage the selection of external tools, platforms, and services.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related technical discipline.
- 5+ years of experience working with AI, machine learning, automation, or related technologies.
- Demonstrated experience building and executing AI/automation strategies within a business or enterprise environment.
- Strong knowledge of core AI technologies, including machine learning, natural language processing, and robotic process automation.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree in a technical or business field.
- Experience with cloud platforms and AI service providers.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, R, or Java.
- Professional certifications in AI, machine learning, or automation frameworks.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and delivering complex technology projects.
