Job Overview:

The Data Strategy team at BSI is seeking a well-rounded Senior Analyst of Data Strategy to support strategic business decisions through data analysis and business intelligence. This is a highly visible role that collaborates with senior leaders at BSI and other key internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate combines strong business acumen with analytical thinking, project management skills, and the ability to communicate insights clearly and effectively.

This individual will support high-impact strategic initiatives, conduct complex analyses, and drive data-driven decisions. The ideal candidate is comfortable working across teams, can independently structure ambiguous problems, and is a strong storyteller through PowerPoint and Excel analysis. Familiarity with tools such as Alteryx or Tableau Prep is a plus.

The Data Strategy team, located within Business Solutions, plays a crucial role in analyzing and reporting on business performance and key performance indicators (KPIs). The team collaborates with various business units to support data-driven decision-making. Their work includes performance and operations analysis, the design of various business metrics, and forward trend analysis.

The Senior Analyst of Data Strategy will report to the Vice President of Data Strategy.

Responsibilities:
  • Supply/Demand management of Business Lines: Support monthly dialogues with Delivery, Sales, Product, Finance, and other teams to review operational needs and discuss hiring plans
  • Metric reporting: Assist monthly process to calculate and report on performance, operating, and customer satisfaction metrics, analyze trends and patterns to identify business opportunities and risks
  • Data Analysis: Leverage data to create insights and analyses to solve complex business problems for stakeholders across LPL, including but not limited to segmentation, data visualization, and KPIs monitoring
  • Project Management: Facilitate annual pricing analysis, quarterly NPS analysis, and other cross-functional projects
  • Storytelling: Develop executive-level presentations and business cases to communicate insights and recommendations
  • Large scale strategy: Facilitate the development of scalable frameworks for pricing, segmentation, and growth strategies
  • Ad hoc analysis, modeling, and additional responsibilities as required

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or related discipline
  • Minimum of 4 years in finance, business strategy, data analytics, management consulting, or similar experience
  • Advanced Excel skills: able to perform complex modeling, sensitivity analyses, and manipulate large data sets
  • Strong PowerPoint skills: able to structure narratives, visualize data, and communicate findings to senior leadership
  • Strong project management skills and demonstrated ability to facilitate cross-functional initiatives across a range of stakeholders
  • Experience in succinctly presenting complex materials to senior executives to drive understanding of key business drivers and expectations for future performance

Preferences:
  • Fundamental understanding of data analytics tools and their functions, such as Alteryx, Tableau Prep, Snowflake, SQL

Pay Range:
$91,700-$152,900/year
Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
