Overview

We are seeking a Financial Systems Analyst with a strong focus on Kinetic ERP to support, maintain, and enhance financial systems. This role plays a critical part in managing financial operations, including month-end AP close, AP reconciliation, and financial reporting, while ensuring system stability and efficiency. The analyst will also provide support for billing systems (Zuora, A2Z, TMM) and collaborate with finance teams to optimize workflows and automation.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

System Analysis and Improvement
  • Provide primary support for Kinetic ERP to ensure smooth financial operations.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and system improvements in financial workflows.
  • Gather and document business and technical requirements to enhance financial systems.

System Configuration, QA Testing & Implementation
  • Configure financial systems to align with business requirements, managing integrations with other enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, Zuora, A2Z, TMM).
  • Manage system implementations, including QA testing, deployment, and post-launch support.
  • Monitor system performance and resolve issues to ensure uninterrupted service.

Data Management & Reporting
  • Ensure data accuracy and compliance with the Chart of Accounts and GAAP principles.
  • Develop and maintain SQL-based financial reports, dashboards, and analytics tools.
  • Provide detailed analysis of financial data and generate reports for management and stakeholders.

Support & Troubleshooting
  • Provide day-to-day support for users of financial systems, resolving technical issues.
  • Manage month-end AP close and AP reconciliation within Kinetic ERP.
  • Support billing systems (Zuora, A2Z, TMM) and assist with issue resolution.
  • Document system processes, troubleshooting steps, and best practices.

Compliance & Security
  • Ensure financial systems comply with regulatory standards and internal controls, including SOX requirements.
  • Monitor system security to ensure data integrity and prevent unauthorized access.

Collaboration & Communication
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (finance, accounting, IT, etc.) to improve workflows and processes.
  • Communicate system changes and updates to stakeholders for smooth adoption.
  • Collaborate with external vendors, auditors, and consultants for system upgrades or audits.

Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience with financial, accounting, or ERP systems.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Kinetic ERP, including report file updates and system enhancements.
  • Knowledge of AP, month-end close, and reconciliation processes.
  • Understanding of Chart of Accounts and GAAP principles.
  • Familiarity with billing systems (Zuora, A2Z, TMM) a plus.
  • Experience with SQL or similar database tools for reporting enhancements.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Compensation & Benefits
  • Target Salary: $70,000 - $95,000 (based on qualifications and experience)
