Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Windchill PLM Product Analyst / IT Lead to support and lead sustaining enhancements for an enterprise-wide PTC Windchill PLM platform within the Medical Devices (MedTech) industry.
This role requires deep functional expertise across Windchill modules, strong PLM domain experience, excellent cross-functional communication skills, and the ability to lead globally distributed teams.
The Product Analyst will play a critical role in enabling the digital thread of product data and ensuring integration alignment across external systems.
Required Experience & Skills:
10+ years experience in Windchill PLM domain
5+ years delivering technical solutions and driving alignment between business & technical teams
5+ years of Windchill PLM experience specifically in the Medical Devices industry
5+ years hands-on experience with:
PTC Windchill PDMLink
PTC ProjectLink
3+ years experience with PTC Windchill MPMLink
2+ successful implementations of Windchill ERP integration
Practical understanding of relational databases and ability to query Oracle SQL (1+ year)
Strong experience leading global, distributed teams
Strong knowledge of SDLC, Agile (Scrum, SAFe)
Excellent communication skills to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision across multiple parallel initiatives
Strong documentation, analytical, and decision-making skills
Role Responsibilities:
<>Requirement Analysis & Functional Leadership</>Understand user challenges and system opportunities; translate them into clear user stories, requirements, bugs, and supporting documentation (process flows, mockups, functional specs).
Conduct feasibility assessments and ensure alignment with the existing solution architecture.
Perform fit-gap analysis comparing current system capabilities with requested business requirements.
Lead and mentor a globally distributed functional squad as the Product Analyst (PA).
Prioritize work, define scope, and communicate roadmap and vision to developers, testers, and business partners.
Educate cross-functional teams on PLM capabilities, system data architecture, and best practices.
Drive end-to-end analysis and resolution of production issues, collaborating with business and technical teams.
Conduct root-cause analysis and develop comprehensive, sustainable fixes.
Ensure issues are mitigated quickly to minimize business disruption.
Work closely with the Product and Platform Managers to ensure alignment with business value and priorities.
Reconcile backlog priorities across multiple stakeholders and business units.
Support the digital thread of product data across integrated systems and platforms.
