Who you are:
As a Quality Engineering Lead , you are our leader. In this role, you will oversee and train Software Quality Assurance Analysts to ensure that they follow Frost's standardized framework for Frost's quality standards. What you'll do:
- Oversee, coach, and train Software Quality Engineers to ensure that they follow Frost's standardized framework for Frost's quality standards
- Oversee all types of required testing services for the projects/system maintenance including patches to identify how these broad changes will affect the support required from SQE teams
- Oversee and coordinate solutions and process improvements for changes and issues that will affect multiple software applications and teams
- Coordinate and work with leadership, Product Owners, and other stakeholders on release plans and conflicts for program/system changes
- Identify resource dependencies, potential risks and work proactively to resolve at the early stages
- Exercise the usual authority of a supervisor by conducting performance appraisals and providing input regarding staffing, promotions, salary recommendations and terminations
- Always take action using Integrity, Caring, and Excellence to achieve all-win outcomes
What you'll need:
- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of Software Quality Engineering or other relevant IT industry or banking experience
- Expertise in software testing methodologies including test planning, test execution, gap analysis, requirements traceability, and defect management
- Experience coordinating the work of project teams and allocating SQE team resources across multiple projects
- Expertise with one or more functional/regression testing tools
- Expert knowledge of the full development lifecycle
- Experience identifying and implementing process improvements
- Exposure to functional, automation and non-functional testing activities
Additional Preferred Skills:
- Project Management experience
- Financial industry experience
- Certifications in testing, automation, and any new technologies
