Key skills: Need a candidate that is extremely strong technically. Architect level technical knowledge and effective communication across individuals and teams. First and foremost, many projects are Power Apps. They need to own the environment and work with teams/partners to help accomplish objectives. Someone who can understand their existing environment and continue to see the future layout and institute best practices. Knowledge of  ITIL / Change management.

Description of Services:

 

The workers responsibilities and skills must include:

• Creates a well-informed Microsoft M365, Power Platforms, and Azure strategy.

• Determines M365 and Power Platforms requirements by analyzing business operations, applications, and security; reviewing business objectives; and evaluating current systems.

• Obtains M365 requirements, develops and implements designs for new projects, and maintains existing designs and architectures.

• Caretaker of the low-code Power Platforms strategy, communicate and coordinate effort of CoE governance team, and ensures the Microsoft Power Platform strategy is aligned with the organizational goals.

• Administers and manages the M365 and Microsoft Power Platform per the established environmental strategy, setting up policies, managing users, managing capacity, and licensing.

• Continuously updates the CoE releases and manages the TxDOT Governance Hub for Power Platform.

• Implements corresponding M365 and Power Platform changes to support and ensures that new designs conform to standards and guidelines; are consistent, normalized, and perform as required; and are secure from unauthorized access or update.

• Reviews changes, realizing their impacts on M365 and Power Platform architecture, and ensures that the impacts are communicated to appropriate parties.

• Establishes measures to chart progress related to the completeness and quality for enterprise usage; and to improve performance.

• Communicate and collaborate in a professional and timely manner.

• Performs related work as assigned.
