Job Description: Lead Salesforce Developer
Location: King of Prussia, PA
Work Model: Hybrid (4 days onsite, 1 day remote)

About the Role
Harsco Clean Earth is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Salesforce Developer to spearhead our Salesforce implementation and innovation initiatives. This is a hands-on leadership role critical to delivering robust, scalable solutions across Sales Cloud and Service Cloud. The ideal candidate will be a technical expert and a collaborative leader, responsible for guiding the team, architecting solutions, and ensuring the platform's alignment with our dynamic business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Leadership & Delivery: Lead end-to-end Salesforce development projects, from design to deployment, ensuring the highest standards of code quality, security, and performance. Champion Salesforce best practices and coding standards within the team.
- Hands-On Development: Design, develop, test, and implement custom solutions, features, and integrations using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
- Solution Architecture & Integration: Architect and build seamless integrations between Salesforce and other enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware. Ensure data integrity and system consistency.
- Data Modeling & Optimization: Develop efficient data models, write complex SOQL/SOSL queries, and optimize processes for large data volumes and high performance.
- Code Review & Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and troubleshoot complex technical issues to maintain system health and stability.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with Business Analysts, product owners, and business stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into effective and scalable technical solutions.
- Mentorship & Guidance: Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to junior and mid-level developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 8+ years of proven experience in Salesforce development with deep, hands-on expertise in Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
- Extensive experience and knowledge in Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
- Strong proficiency in SOQL, SOSL, and Salesforce data modeling principles.
- Demonstrated experience integrating Salesforce with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs.
- Active Salesforce Certified Administrator and/or Platform Developer I (PD1) certification.
- Solid understanding of governor limits, performance tuning, and debugging techniques.
Preferred Qualifications
- Salesforce Platform Developer II (PD2) certification is highly desirable.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment using tools like Jira.
- Proven track record of leading technical teams and driving projects to successful completion.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to innovate and implement advanced, scalable solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
