Description
Our client, one of the world's top technology companies, is looking for an exceptional Product Design Lead to join the team. In this role, you will create various user-centric products used by internal employees and B2B partners. In addition, you will work alongside teams of Product Managers, Developers, and Producers to empower users in their day-to-day workflows. The ideal candidate for the role has deep curiosity for our users and how to best help them in their needs. This person will also need experience in people management as the Product Design Lead, overseeing the team in California and overseas. Must have experience in Desktop Web (mobile not as necessary). This role MUST be hybrid to our client's campus in Silicon Valley 3-days per week (Tues, Weds, Thurs weekly).
This is a contract role on W2.
Key Qualifications
A portfolio of work that showcases excellence in interaction design, from initial concept through finished product
Proven expertise in multiple areas of UX design, including service design, research, IA, visual, prototyping etc.
Outstanding ability communicate your ideas to designers, engineers, product managers, and leadership through story telling, visuals and presentations
Expertise documenting interaction details, visual design specifications, and QA of the implemented product
Expertise conducting competitive and comparative research
Experience in a highly Agile/scrum environment
Familiar with industry accessibility standards
Meticulous attention to detail
Expert level communication and organizational skills
Experience working with cross-functional teams
Leadership experience -- both project and people
Excellent stakeholder management
The ideal candidate will have a passion for designing elegant, end-to-end desktop web applications. The position requires deliverables to be provided under tight deadlines and with input from many cross-functional stakeholders. Strong collaboration skills are a must, as well as coolness under pressure, problem solving, attention to detail, and the ability to cope with rapid change. Above all, the role requires a dedicated individual who understands our client's high standards and design aesthetic to the core.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Portfolio demonstrating user interface and user experience design work
Basic experience in Jira project management software
10+ years of experience in product design and/or UX/UI
Expert knowledge of Photoshop, illustrator and Sketch
Basic skills in After Effects or Premier and Keynote
Proficiency in macOS

The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $95.00/hr.
