Electro-Mechanical Assembler

Job Summary:

Teledyne ETM is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Assembler to build electronic systems and subsystems and their components using appropriate work instructions. Day shift only.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
    \n
  • With training, assemble electronic components, multiple-wire harnesses, large sub-assemblies, heavy chassis and systems
  • \n
  • Route and secure wires and wire bundles, both large and small gauge
  • \n
  • Follow work instructions, including production drawings, photos, notes and verbal directions
  • \n
  • Work alongside a team of assemblers, technicians, and engineers
  • \n
  • Identify and initiate continuous improvement
  • \n
\n

Required Skills:
    \n
  • Able to handle multiple commitments
  • \n
  • With training, able to read and understand manufacturing instructions
  • \n
  • Comfort with using a variety of hand and power tools
  • \n
  • Comfort with using basic test equipment: DVM, dial caliper, pressure gauges
  • \n
  • Able to safely lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
  • \n
  • Able to stoop, kneel, and work overhead on a regular basis
  • \n
  • Basic computer skills - email, internet parts search, ability to learn to use various database programs
  • \n
  • Attention to detail
  • \n
  • Good command of the English language, both written and verbal
  • \n
\n

Preferred Skills
    \n
  • Some experience with mechanical assembly work and with following work diagrams and instructions
  • \n
  • Basic plumbing experience
  • \n
  • Good hand/eye coordination and mechanical aptitude

  • Soldering ability

Salary Range:
$42,800.00-$57,100.000
