Job Title: Technical Business Analyst Data Focused (Hybrid)

Employment Type: Contract (W2)

Location: Denver, CO (Hybrid 3 days/month onsite)
Duration: Long-term (Extension possible, minimal conversion likelihood)

Job Description:

We are seeking a 10+ years of strong Technical Business Analyst with strong data integration and reporting experience to join our enterprise healthcare client. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, support data products, and lead stakeholder communication across complex systems and integrations.

Responsibilities:

• Lead requirement gathering and documentation for data-focused initiatives
• Analyze and track usage of Cognos reports accessed by thousands of users
• Drive and support data integration efforts across hundreds of applications
• Support development of unit-level data products by collaborating with analytics teams
• Partner with Technical PM to define project scope, schedule grooming sessions, and manage stakeholder communication
• Run meetings, manage status updates, identify blockers, and maintain documentation in JIRA and Confluence
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and quality across systems

Key Skills & Tools:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills (must interact with both technical teams and business stakeholders)
• Working knowledge of SQL reading, interpreting, and validating data
• Experience with data warehouses and reporting tools (e.g., Cognos, Tableau)
• Familiarity with Informatica, BigQuery, SQL, JIRA, and Confluence is a plus
• Proven ability to lead meetings, manage scope, and resolve requirement ambiguities
• Understanding of data management principles (data models, queries, reporting logic)
• Background in healthcare is a strong advantage
