Description:
Key Accountabilities - NY Electric Program Management
Develop and maintain the contract strategy and fit for purpose delivery models for the NY Electric capital portfolio
Develop and maintain the NY Electric contract management support model and capability framework.
Support the Band C and Band D Programme Team to engage with the Business Unit, and where appropriate directly support the strategic relationship with them to ensure their procurement and supply chain needs are delivered in line with business requirements.
Support the development and delivery of a comprehensive suite of category strategies for the Business Unit providing market capability and capacity intelligence, ensuring that maximum value is realized from the significant procurement spend, whilst securing supply, managing supply chain risks, and achieving sustainability objectives.
Responsible for the development and implementation of procurement strategies and execution of the procurement priorities for the business unit. Providing strategic and commercial insight, supply chain sustainability insight, and supply chain risk and mitigation recommendations.
Work across teams and sub-functions within Procurement to support overall category management effort (e.g., Sustainability, Supply Chain Risk & Transparency, Market Supplier Development, Supplier Engagement). Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with the category, including supply chain disruptions, price volatility, and quality issues.
You will gather and organize facts and data from a variety of information sources, including internal stakeholders and external experts, clients and partners
Supporting the development of the forward-looking strategy of the firm and strategic plans that enable execution of enterprise-wide strategic projects
Collaborating with business unit leaders in gaining their input into the firm s strategic direction helping coordinate their efforts in alignment with the firm s strategic plan
Experience in project management, business case development, cost benefit analysis, and change management
Experience developing executive-level briefing, presentations and analysis
Qualifications:
Experience in large scale complex construction, specifically transmission, and contract negotiation a plus
Proven ability to oversee large-scale, complex contracting initiatives with a focus on cost control, risk mitigation, and corporate objective alignment
Relationship management experience, driving commercial value and performance through contracts
Ability to independently lead project/s or work streams at any time from project scoping, content creation / moderation and generating insights driven by analysis (quantitative and qualitative), and preparing outputs which enable informed decisions
Preparing summaries of key insights and presenting data analysis with corresponding insight in highly professional format, emphasizing clarity of logic and simplicity of communication
Exceptional ability to multi-task / manage multiple tasks with concurrent deadlines
Expert use of Excel and PowerPoint to create and present actionable insights gathered from data to senior level executives
Desire to leverage expertise in complex construction project planning and execution to deliver high-quality results
