Pay Range: $43 - $46 per hour

Schedule: 4 days in the office & 1 day remote
Summary:
The main functions of a financial analyst are to gather and analyze financial information; will typically conduct quantitative analyses of information affecting investment programs of public or private institutions. A typical financial analyst is responsible for analyzing and communicating financial information for clients.
Job Responsibilities:
Assemble spreadsheets and draw charts and graphs used to illustrate technical reports.
Analyze financial information to produce forecast of business, industry and economic conditions for use in making investment decisions.
Interpret data affecting investment programs, such as price, yield, stability and future trends in investment risks.
Present oral and written reports on general economic trends, individual corporations and entire industries.
Skills:
Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and critical thinking.
Ability to work independently and manage one's time.
Ability to analyze business trends and project future revenues and expenses.
Knowledge of economic and accounting principles, the financial markets, and reporting of financial data.
Knowledge of federal, state, and company policies, procedures and regulations as related to accounting.
Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and any other related financial software.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related financial discipline required. An advanced degree in a financial discipline is preferred.
5-7 years financial and/or accounting experience required.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES/REQUIREMENTS:
Responsibilities:
Submit budget request (Plan Proposals) for Marketing programs and Ensures adherence to budget policies, procedures, and regulations.
Managing the payment schedule, ensuring timely payments to vendors, and maintaining communication regarding payment status.
Verify purchase orders against invoices to ensure goods and services are received and paid for correctly
Reconciling accounts payable ledgers, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining accurate financial records.
Assisting in month-end closing activities, including accruals and reconciliations.
Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
Review POP(proof of performance), BOL, Contracts, Term Sheets (MDF and SD) for payment.
Background/Experience to qualify for this position, the following minimal background and skill levels are required:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or related field and minimum of 3- 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or occupation
Experience in managing A/R, A/P and financial closing process
Demonstrated ability to identifying areas of process improvement and managing improvement projects until completion
Experience in business process review and analysis, including financial and operational analysis and audits

Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with all assigned levels within and outside the company
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
In-depth knowledge and expertise with SAP or other financial systems or networking knowledge
Demonstrated competency in both oral and written communication modes for both internal and external personnel at various levels, especially in the sales and marketing, and financial areas
Work independently and in a team environment in order to achieve personal and team goals and complete assignments within established time frames
Demonstrated excellence in time management skills and follow up to ensure meeting on time deliverables
Ability to make decisions and problem solving on time sensitive matters
Physical/Mental Demands and Working Conditions: The position requires the ability to perform the essential duties and responsibilities in the following environment:
Operate a computer keyboard and view a video display terminal more than 75% of work time
Lift, move, or adjust general office equipment and boxes of presentation or media materials using proper materials handling equipment and procedures
Physically make project presentations or demonstrations to customers and internal and external groups using verbal and graphics communication modes
Ability to work additional hours beyond normal schedule
Ability to work in a high stress environment
