Job Summary

As a Server and Storage Administrator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing our server infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include server administration, storage management, and ensuring the reliability and security of our systems. We're seeking a proactive self-starter who can take ownership of assignments and contribute to our team's success.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Server Administration:
    • Install, configure, and maintain server hardware and software.
    • Troubleshoot server issues and implement effective solutions.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless server operations.
  2. Storage Management:
    • Evaluate, configure, and document storage solutions.
    • Manage and operate storage systems, including NAS, SAN, and DAS.
    • Optimize storage performance and capacity.
  3. Identity Access Management (IAM):
    • Utilize IAM solutions (such as Okta) to manage user access and permissions.
    • Administer Windows Active Directory (AD) services.
  4. Citrix Products:
    • Configure and maintain Citrix XenApp and Netscaler ADC.
    • Ensure efficient delivery of applications to end-users.
  5. Scripting and Automation:
    • Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation.
    • Create procedures to streamline repetitive tasks.
  6. Security and Compliance:
    • Familiarity with SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) products.
    • Implement Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) solutions.
    • Securely manage FTP/sFTP protocols.
  7. Problem-Solving and Project Management:
    • Identify issues, obstacles, and opportunities related to infrastructure.
    • Collaborate with project teams to implement effective solutions.
    • Prioritize tasks across multiple active projects.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, NCIE, CE) are desirable.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in Linux and Windows operating systems.
    • Experience with NetApp and EMC storage arrays (NFS/CIFS protocols).
    • Familiarity with network administration principles.
    • Ability to work effectively in an Infrastructure team.
