Our client is looking for an Technical Business Analyst to join their team for a long term hybrid opportunity in the local Charlotte market. The ideal must have experience writing user stories from scratch, SQL experience is a must and need to know how to write a query and JIRA.

Position Summary:
This position is for a Business Analyst who will act as the primary interface with business partners, solution architects, and cross-organizational technology teams. The Analyst will analyze current processes and systems, assessing the business model and its integration with technology. The Analyst is responsible for working with stakeholders to understand their needs, analyze problems, and capture their requirements, and then working closely with the Development Team to refine the requirement into specifications that can be executed by the team. The Analyst will be part of an Agile Scrum team, collaborating with the Product Owner to evaluate the Features, write effective user stories, document business rules; and with the Developers to review technical design, identify enablers and dependencies.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $48.00/hr.

Description
- Must have excellent analytical skills and at least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, working closely with business partners to elicit requirements, document process flows, identify risks and mitigation and participate in definition of strategies for the technical solution.
- Experience documenting detailed functional and technical requirements for business requirements.
- Ability to communicate and work with developers to ensure that acceptance criteria for the user stories are understood and applied.
- Provides support to UAT and SIT testers to clarify requirements and determine whether a defect is a new requirement, or truly a defect.
- Working knowledge of agile tools such as JIRA.
- Experience with Agile methodologies, feature writing, story grooming and sprint planning.
- SQL experience is a must and need to know how to write a query
