Job Title: Gifting Contractor

Location: Los Angeles, CA- 40% Remote

Duration: 1 Year Contract

Client: Major Entertainment Client

Rate: $41/hr on w2

Interview Process: Manager Screen, Take-Home Assignment, First Round

Notes: This role is 32 hrs. week - Monday-Thursday. There is the possibility of becoming full-time for the right candidate.

The ideal candidate must have experience dealing with above-the-line talent and have an eye for gifting top level gifts for awards, etc. There is a lot of coordination with talent management. This role requires a lot of attention to detail and the ability to multi-task efficiently.

This role is a replacement for a previous coordinator who was let go. The team now needs additional help. Missing from the previous coordinator: lots of handholding because they didn't know talent or have knowledge for talent, couldn't manage workload and time manage properly for deliverables, etc.

Candidates work from Monday to Thursday and Friday off.

The team handles 500 to 700 gifts per month and 1000 during holidays and event season.

Job Description:

• Major Entertainment company is seeking a contractor located in Los Angeles to provide support to the Talent Experiences & Gifting Team.
• This contractor will have a crucial role in the planning of exclusive experiences and gifts for their talent, including Directors, Producers, Writers, and Lead Actors.
• These efforts range from providing gifts during productions to celebrating significant life events like birthdays, awards ceremonies, festivals, get-well occasions, and the arrival of newborns.
• They will research trends and form relationships with brands, consultants, and vendors to pitch creative ideas and create unique gifting moments and experiences for our talent.
• They will collaborate with internal cross-functional partners on projects and will work to create efficient workflows and practices.
• They will take on other duties, as assigned, to help support, grow, and scale this department.

• Eager to understand the preferences of gift recipients to curate meaningful gifts.
• Brings valuable experience collaborating with talent and their representatives, along with senior executives.
• Exceptionally organized with a meticulous eye for detail
• Effective communicator who recognizes the significance of strong communication skills
• Proficient in juggling multiple tasks, prioritizing, and meeting challenging deadlines.
• A proactive, optimistic, and cooperative team player
• Adaptable to high-pressure situations, possessing excellent project management abilities to oversee a substantial workload.
• Innovative and creative thinkers are unafraid to challenge conventional methods and devise efficient processes to enhance the global gifting program.
• Curious and receptive to gaining insights not only within their immediate responsibilities but also across various facets of the organization.
• A creative problem solver who is self-sufficient and has great judgment.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's (BA/BS) Degree or equivalent, with relevant experience.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience within an entertainment studio, particularly in roles related to talent relations, public relations, creative marketing, or events departments, and/or in curating gifts for celebrity talent.
• Capability and willingness to work independently within a hybrid working setup (3 days Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)
• Proficiency in Google Suite and familiarity with industry data tools such as IMDB and Celebrity Intelligence. Knowledge of Airtable a plus.
• In-depth knowledge of above-the-line talent and talent agencies.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
