Rhapsody Integration Engineer

Our Remote client is seeking a Rhapsody Integration Engineer for a 6-month Contract to Hire opportunity:

Responsibilities

• Engineer to design, develop, and support healthcare data exchange solutions using leading integration technologies. The ideal candidate will have strong Rhapsody expertise, interoperability standards experience, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Integrate a variety of health information systems (e.g., Electronic Health Records, Laboratory Information Management Systems, Immunization Registries, Syndromic Surveillance Systems) to facilitate interoperable data exchange in accordance with HL7, FHIR, CCD, CDA, X12, and other healthcare messaging standards.
• Monitor production interfaces, investigate failures or data anomalies, troubleshoot issues, and implement root cause solutions to maintain system reliability and integrity.
• Start Date is ASAP
• This position is W2 only and will be 100% Remote for project duration

Key Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Rhapsody (5+ years)
• Previous Public Health Integration Experience Strongly Preferred
• Proficiency with HL7 v2.x and FHIR (training available for Rhapsody experts)
• Public Health or Health Information Exchange (HIE) project experience
• Ability to design, build, test, and maintain complex healthcare interfaces
• Skilled in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and production monitoring
• Familiarity with SMART on FHIR and public healthcare APIs a plus
• Willingness to convert to permanent hire after 6 months (100% remote)
