Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled BI Administrator with strong expertise in Tableau and Business Objects (BO) administration. The ideal candidate will have deep SQL knowledge, experience managing BI platforms, and the ability to optimize system performance, user access, and data governance in a hybrid enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer, configure, and maintain Tableau Server including TSM, Data Management, Resource Monitoring, and Content Migration.
Manage and maintain Business Objects Architecture (version 4.x or higher).
Develop and optimize SQL queries and ensure database performance and reliability.
Collaborate with data, infrastructure, and application teams for seamless BI operations.
Perform platform upgrades, migrations, and capacity planning.
Ensure user access, permissions, and content management are aligned with governance policies.
Automate administrative tasks using scripting and configuration tools.
Required Skills:
Strong SQL and database fundamentals.
Proven experience in Tableau Administration (TSM, Data Management, Monitoring, Migration).
Hands-on experience in Business Objects Administration (4.x+).
Preferred Skills:
Experience with APOS Suite of Products.
Working knowledge of UNIX Administration.
Experience with virtualization/orchestration tools such as Kubernetes or VMware.
Knowledge of Python, JSP, or HTML for automation and custom integration.
Familiarity with SDKs and PowerShell scripting for task automation.
BI development or data visualization background.
