Position: Azure Cloud Systems Engineer - 3383154

Location: Wilmington, DE - Onsite

Duration: Contract opportunity

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Serve as an advanced technologist for specific technologies, regularly collaborating with Technology management, senior Engineers, and support teams.
  • Design, develop, and implement technical solutions aligned with business needs.
  • Participate in infrastructure reviews, solution implementations, documentation, policy creation, and testing.
  • Independently interact with business partners across various management levels to gather and clarify requirements.
  • Coordinate vendor interactions and mentor less experienced engineers.
  • Maintain detailed technical documentation and promote best practices and industry standards.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and internal control adherence.

What You'll Need to Have:

  • Strong Windows application troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with Azure troubleshooting and deployments.
  • Automation skills using Ansible, PowerShell, and Terraform.
  • Must be comfortable working with developers and managers.
  • Able to work after-hours or weekends as needed for code deployments.
  • Combined minimum of 6 years of higher education and/or professional experience in systems design, management, or architecture.
  • Advanced technical, analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to translate complex business and functional requirements into structured technical solutions.
  • Experience mentoring junior engineers and managing vendor coordination.
  • Familiarity with server/client and virtual technologies.
