Job Details

Description
The Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for managing a variety of systems, software and vendors including Microsoft products.
Essential Responsibilities
Assists in maintaining network environment, including updating of server patches, Windows, VMWare and Cisco UCS.
Troubleshoots server issues, levering the use of industry standard network tools and monitoring.
Operational installation, deployment and support for day-to-day activities.
Server/VMware/SAN configuration and implementation.
Network Documentation with Visio.
Supports Level 1 and Level 2 technicians with trouble tickets for end users.
Knowledge of how emerging technologies would solve a technical problem or enhance the user experience.
Other Duties
Performs other duties and/or projects as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Experience working with various operating systems, platforms and environments in supporting JFI and PPM.
Excellent ability to effectively communicate technical issues both verbally and in writing.
Ability to easily adapt and prepare for the implications of changes.
Strong project management skills including a record of initiating and delivering projects.
Understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 technologies, including TCP/IP.
Security: Application Security, Role based access and Intune.
Background in process engineering and analytical abilities to learn new processes.
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to leading small to mid-size projects.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues independently.
Server Management Platforms: SolarWinds and MS Config Manager.
Windows Server 2016-2019.
Broad knowledge of the financial services sector.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree preferably in Information Technology/Computer Science/Engineering and/or equivalent experience required.
3+ years Experience with Microsoft Servers, Active Directory, Group Policy, File Share, Exchange and Exchange Online, SQL, VMWare, ESXi Servers, SCCM, DNS, Office 365 required.
Storage platforms required.
Azure: AD, Resources Groups, Storage Accounts, Application Gateways, Web Farms, App Service required.
Subscription Management, SQL VM and Conditional Access Policies required.
Automation: PowerShell coding techniques and ability to automate processes required.
Load Balance technologies: NetScaler required.
Cloud platforms (IaaS, SaaS) required.
Backup & Archive Software required.
Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer preferred.
VMWare Certified Professionals preferred.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $67.00/hr.
