Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced MongoDB Developer to design, develop, and optimize high-performing database solutions that meet application and business needs. This role requires onsite presence at one of our key locations and offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with development teams to deliver scalable, secure, and efficient database architectures.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build MongoDB databases: Develop scalable and efficient database architectures aligned with application requirements.
- Optimize queries and performance: Write high-performing MongoDB queries, aggregations, and indexing strategies to ensure optimal system performance.
- Integrate with applications: Seamlessly connect MongoDB with various applications, services, and frameworks for smooth and reliable data exchange.
- Ensure data security and integrity: Apply best practices for data encryption, access control, and backup strategies to protect sensitive data.
- Troubleshoot and enhance performance: Identify bottlenecks, resolve issues, and fine-tune database configurations for maximum efficiency and reliability.
- Collaborate with developers: Work alongside development teams to integrate MongoDB effectively and provide technical guidance on database design, implementation, and optimization.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 5 plus years of hands-on MongoDB experience.
- Strong expertise in MongoDB, including data modeling, query optimization, and indexing strategies.
- Solid experience in database design principles, schema development, and data modeling best practices.
- Proven ability to perform performance tuning and optimization using indexing, caching, and efficient query techniques.
- Understanding of data security best practices, including encryption, access control, and backup strategies to ensure data integrity.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve performance issues in a complex database environment.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work closely with development teams and provide technical guidance on database design and integration.
- Familiarity with MongoDB Atlas, including cluster management, monitoring, and scaling.
- Experience with DevOps tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, or Ansible.
- Knowledge of agile development methodologies, including Scrum or scaled agile frameworks.
