Understand the context of the client s business problem in order to help create products or experiences that align with core user needs and solve pain points.
Highly skilled in the varied insights techniques (across secondary and primary research) and build new capabilities that help differentiate Nerdery from other practices.
Strive to become an internal expert and consultant for the Strategic Insights practice.
Primary responsibility to convert business objectives to research objectives in order to identify the right research method and tools to solve the problem and generate actionable insights.
Write research discussion guides and/or survey questionnaires
Set up the research study on testing platforms
Gather, analyze and synthesize data, while drawing and leveraging insights from new and historical sources.
Communicate synthesized insights to key internal and external stakeholders.
Facilitate workshops and lead decision making meetings to drive momentum towards desired next steps.
Collaborate with key stakeholders (at the Client and Nerdery) on assessing business issues to develop, manage and execute customized learning plans or insights roadmap.
Consult, advise and influence internal team members on insights methodologies, usage and interpretation.
Skills and Qualifications
Required
Bachelor s degree or higher from an accredited institution.
5+ years consumer research experience as a supplier or a client in a private, public, government or military environment
Experienced in designing research studies with strategically aligned research objectives and success metrics
Well-versed and experienced in designing and executing research studies on a broad array of insights methodologies across secondary and primary (i.e. qualitative and/or quantitative) research techniques
Experience executing research studies from front end, exploratory research to concept testing and product usability testing.
Strong oral, written and presentation skills
Proven analytical acumen to organize and interpret data and develop insights that encourage action.
Demonstrated ability to create clear and compelling storylines and recommendations
Preferred
Experience in Data and Analytics, to analyze proprietary third party data, build data strategies, conduct data governance and partner with Data Engineering or Data Science teams to build models.
Master's degree or PhD in Marketing Research, Mathematics, Analytics, Human Centered Design Research, Psychology and/or User Experience
Experience as an Insights professional in key industries: Consumer Packaged Goods, Government, Healthcare/Medical and Industrial
