Job Details
The Project Engineer is responsible for managing technical engineering and project management tasks to ensure successful project execution. Duties include creating designs, overseeing construction or manufacturing processes, preparing documentation, managing schedules, and coordinating with stakeholders to meet project goals. The Project Engineer will also ensure that projects comply with technical standards, safety protocols, and budget requirements. This is a full-time position in California.
Qualifications
Proficiency in design software, CAD tools, and project management tools
Strong understanding of engineering principles, construction processes, and technical drawings
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities for managing multiple projects and deadlines
Effective communication and collaboration skills with clients, contractors, and internal teams
Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to address challenges and optimize resources
Relevant engineering degree (Civil, Mechanical, or related) and professional certifications (PE certification is a plus)
Previous experience in the steel industry or construction/engineering projects is beneficial
