Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Governance Engineer to join the team in Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data governance frameworks, Snowflake Data Warehouse, and MarTech ecosystems, with a deep understanding of data quality tools and compliance standards. This is a full-time, onsite role starting Day 1, with high visibility across enterprise data initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures

  • Ensure data integrity and quality within the Snowflake Data Warehouse

  • Perform data profiling, cleansing, and quality assessments using tools like Informatica DQ, Talend, and Collibra

  • Manage metadata and establish data lineage tracking

  • Collaborate with marketing and compliance teams on customer data platforms (CDPs) and MarTech systems

  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations such as GDPR and CCPA

  • Develop and execute strategies for improving data governance maturity

  • Support audits and data risk assessments across the organization

  • Work with engineering teams to implement governance capabilities in cloud platforms

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience in data governance, data quality, and data management

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake, MarTech, and CDP platforms

  • Strong proficiency in data quality tools (Informatica DQ, Talend, Collibra)

  • In-depth understanding of metadata management and data lineage concepts

  • Advanced SQL skills for querying and validating large datasets

  • Experience working with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA)

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus

  • Relevant certifications such as DAMA CDMP or Snowflake Data Quality are preferred
