Job Details

Job Title: Network Security Analyst (NIST)

Duration: 12-month duration

Location: Austin, TX 78744 (Onsite: 5 days a week, Need locals)

Summary:

Work involves planning, implementing, and monitoring security measures using the NIST Risk Management Framework and Texas security frameworks for information systems and infrastructures.

DUTIES With guidance and direction:

  • Assist with implementation and management the client Secure System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) processes
  • Assists in the coordination of the implementation of system security plans with agency personnel and outside vendors.
  • Confers with users to discuss issues such as account permission and data access needs, security violations, and programming changes.
  • Adhere to plans that safeguard information systems from accidental or unauthorized modification, destruction, or disclosure and to meet emergency data processing needs.
  • Participates in the development of information technology disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
  • Performs and reviews technical security assessments and reviews of new and existing applications and systems, including data center physical security and environment.
  • Performs related work as assigned.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree with at least 1 year of work experience in NIST Risk Management Framework and Texas security frameworks for information systems and infrastructures.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

  • Associate of ISC2, Security+
