Position: Single-Sign-On Architect
Location: 100% Remote (EST time zone)
Client is also willing to consider candidates who live & work from Cananda
Contract Duration: 9 Month Contract (+ additional extensions)
Overview:
- We are seeking a highly skilled, hands-on SSO Architect / IAM Engineer to support critical enterprise security initiatives.
- Successful candidates must possess deep engineering expertise and direct experience building and deploying IAM solutions at scale.
- The primary focus will be on Ping Identity solutions, passwordless authentication projects, and Okta / SiteMinder migration efforts.
- Candidates with prior experience at Deloitte or Ping are preferred.
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of IT experience (open to strong mid-level candidates with relevant expertise).
- Strong background in IAM / Security Engineering within large enterprise environments.
- PingFederate (Required)
- Ping DaVinci (Required)
- PingID (Preferred)
- PingAccess (Preferred)
- Experience deploying or rolling out passwordless authentication solutions.
- Experience supporting or executing Okta and SiteMinder migrations.
- Strong AWS familiarity (preferred in identity-related deployments).
- Proven ability to build, not just administer, IAM solutions strong engineering mindset.
- Must have experience with Ping products.
- Must have hands-on and in-depth technical expertise.
- Ability to handle challenges respond to unexpected questions.
- Infrastructure skills such as Docker setup, with the ability to demonstrate practical knowledge.
- Ability to explain the application of IAM standard patterns to real business scenarios.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, engineer, and implement SSO and IAM solutions across Ping Identity product suites.
- Lead architecture and build efforts for PingFederate, PingOne, Ping DaVinci, PingCentral, PingAccess, PingDirectory, and related services.
- Support major initiatives around Ping & passwordless authentication, ensuring secure, scalable deployments.
- Contribute to and drive the migration from Okta and SiteMinder platforms.
