Technical Project Coordinator

Duration: 6 Months

Location: Hybrid Remote with On-Site Requirements (6 days per month)

Position Overview

The Technical Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the Health Data Services team by organizing workflows, coordinating technical efforts, and ensuring effective communication between the Director of Health Data Services, staff, and vendors. This role involves arranging meetings, tracking project tasks, documenting outcomes, and ensuring alignment across multiple small-scale technical projects.

The coordinator will help streamline processes, develop reporting tools, and create structures that enable the team to scale operations and maintain clear communication with internal stakeholders. This position is ideal for a self-driven individual with a strong background in project coordination, preferably within healthcare or government environments.

Key Responsibilities

Project Coordination & Communication

Schedule and facilitate meetings for Health Data Services projects.

Track action items, decisions, and deliverables, ensuring staff and leadership are well-informed.
Document meeting minutes, findings, workflows, and project updates.

Ensure the Director of Health Data Services has timely visibility into ongoing work efforts.

Process & Documentation Development

Create and maintain process documentation, policies, procedures, and work structures.

Build forms, templates, and work trackers to support team operations.

Develop reporting tools to enhance communication with operational users.

Team & Vendor Management

Manage staff deliverables and follow up to ensure timely completion.

Coordinate and manage relationships with external vendors.

Oversee staff training schedules, materials, and progress.

Minimum Qualifications

At least 2 years of experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role.

Bachelor s degree or equivalent relevant experience.

Strong English communication skills (verbal and written).

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Understanding of basic project management principles.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in Healthcare, Government, or County Health Care settings.

Familiarity with PMI/PMP methodologies.

Experience supporting data engineers or technical teams.
