Senior QA Engineer (Only Direct Consultants)

Location: Dublin, OH Hybrid | Full Time
Experience: 8+ Years

Veltris is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to ensure the delivery of high-quality software through effective test planning, execution, automation, and performance testing. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, contributing to continuous improvement of QA practices, and mentoring junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Test Design & Execution: Create and run test plans, cases, and data for functional, regression, API, and integration testing.

  • Automation: Develop and maintain automated test suites using tools like Selenium, Cypress, and RestAssured.

  • Performance Testing: Execute load and performance tests using JMeter, Gatling, or LoadRunner.

  • Agile Collaboration: Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and provide QA insights throughout sprints.

  • Defect Management: Log and manage defects using Jira or Bugzilla; work with dev teams for resolution.

  • CI/CD & DevOps: Integrate tests into pipelines and support TestOps strategies.

  • Process Improvement: Continuously optimize QA processes and adopt new testing strategies.

  • Documentation & Mentorship: Maintain detailed QA documentation and mentor junior team members.

Required Skills

  • 8+ years in QA/Software Testing with strong STLC and Agile knowledge.

  • Hands-on with Selenium, TestNG, Cypress, JUnit, Postman, RestAssured.

  • Experience with API, performance, and automation testing.

  • Familiar with QA tools (TestRail, TestIM), and CI/CD integration.

  • Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to work independently and in teams.

Nice to Have

  • BDD (Cucumber), Git, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform), DevOps/TestOps exposure.
