We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Controls Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of automated control systems. This role will involve working on exciting projects that encompass various aspects of engineering, from designing and programming PLCs to integrating and optimizing automation systems. This position offers a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in the engineering industry and play a crucial role in the development of innovative solutions.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and implement control systems (PLC, HMI) to meet production requirements.
2. Program and configure automation systems using software such as Allen Bradley, Studio5000, and Ladder Logic.
3. Utilize AutoCAD for the design and layout of electrical systems.
4. Collaborate with the engineering team to integrate robotics into existing systems.
5. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with control systems and automation equipment.
6. Conduct regular system tests to ensure optimal performance and safety.
7. Maintain thorough documentation of all systems and modifications.
8. Provide training and support to team members on system operations and troubleshooting.
9. Stay updated with the latest technology trends in automation and control systems.
10. Participate in project planning and provide input on automation and control strategies.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Robotics, or a related field.
2. At least 3 years of experience as a Controls Engineer or in a similar role.
3. Proficiency in PLC programming and control systems design.
4. Experience with automation tools, particularly Fanuc.
5. Hands-on experience with electrical engineering and AutoCAD.
6. Familiarity with robotics and their integration into control systems.
7. Solid understanding of HMI and its applications in control systems.
8. Proficiency in using Studio5000 and Allen Bradley software.
9. Excellent problem-solving abilities with a strong attention to detail.
10. Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with various departments.
11. Strong knowledge of safety standards and regulatory compliance.
12. Willingness to keep up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field.
